Children play every day.

Through play children learn many things about the world around them.

As a carer of children I understand the value of play and how it helps the child to learn.

These photographs show some of the activities that the children have participated in:

Easter Eggs made withcontact paper and tissue squares, Elmer the Elephant, Eggs painted for egg rolling,
An Olympic Torchmade for our Olympic Games,
Chinese New Yearwe made Chinese Dragons, Teddy Faces Using only circles

Snowman, Leprechaun, Planetary system, Patterns,
This is my husband making a spaceship for the children to play with.

This is a Photograph of the Planetary System

With the older children during the summer holidays we looked at the solar system.

One activity: - salt dough made into rough estimations of the nine planets and the children
then painted them in the relevant colours.
The planets were then placed in rough relationship to the sun.
I was amazed how they absorbed the names and in which order the planets came.
